Third-party inspection that protects the purchase order

We represent the buyer inside the supplier's shop. Hold, witness and review points are set before manufacturing starts, verified against the specification you bought to, and recorded in evidence you can defend.

01Scope

What an assignment covers

Every assignment is defined in writing before an inspector travels. Nothing is assumed from a purchase order line.

  • Inspection and test plan review, with hold, witness, review and monitor points agreed with the supplier
  • Pre-production and in-process surveillance at forging, welding, heat treatment and machining stages
  • Witness of NDT, pressure, functional and dimensional testing against the applicable code
  • Material traceability and certificate review to EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2
  • Final visual, marking, preservation and packing verification before release
  • Manufacturing record book compilation and completeness review

03Coverage

Where we work

Field coverage is Mexico and the United States, coordinated from the Houston–Monterrey corridor. Supplier notification and access verification are completed before travel, and attendance is planned against the inspection points in the applicable ITP.

FAQQuestions

Do you work for the buyer or the supplier?
For the buyer. Assignments are undertaken without commercial, financial or operational pressure from the supplier being inspected, and conflicts of interest are identified and managed before mobilization.
How fast can an inspector be on site?
Attendance is coordinated with the supplier once the scope is confirmed, and is governed by the notification and access requirements of the applicable ITP and contract.
What happens when a finding is raised?
Findings that affect schedule, cost or conformity are raised to the buyer the same day as a field alert, with the clause, photographic evidence and recommended action, not held until the report.
